Peace With Creation: Stubborn Acts of Hope

Even in the shadow of Jerusalem’s collapse, Jeremiah buys a field, defiantly investing in God’s future when despair seemed most reasonable. His “stubborn act of hope” points us toward ecological faithfulness today: resisting denial, naming hard truths, and yet planting seeds of restoration in the soil of crisis. To make peace with creation is to live as if renewal is still possible—choosing bold, hopeful action for the sake of the Earth and the vulnerable.
