Hustle to End Hunger 5K

On rain drenched October 5, 2024,  we gathered to raise funds for Christians Reaching Out to Society ministry food pantries.  Every year, we donate more missions dollars and donate more volunteer hours to CROS ministries.  Look over our photos to view this fun-filled morning!

Gay Pride Weekend,  2025

On March 22 and 23, 2025 the Lake Worth United Church of Christ was not only a Compass sponsor and a business alliance member of the Palm Beach Pride Fest, but we had a presence in the parade on Sunday.   Enjoy our photos!

Gleaning,  2025

We had a great morning  gleaning peppers  in Boynton Beach on Saturday, March 23rd.  The weather was beautiful, and we picked many boxes of peppers in about an hour and a half.  Those peppers went to CROS food bank  to be distributed to 100s of families the next week.

Breakfast Church

We have found that having breakfast together is a great way to do church.   We feel that this is a way of being church for all-ages to join in experiencing fun and faith formative activities.  Our Breakfast Church is based on the values of all-ages together, celebration, creativity, hospitality, and centering ourselves in Christ.

 Missions

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it to me.”   Matthew 25:40.

Celebrate Friendships!

We do seem to enjoy each other's company.  At our monthly pot luck meals, in our missions projects, and on Sunday mornings, we are friendly people!

CROS food sorting, 2025

Monthly,  we gather at the CROS  (Christians Reaching Out to Society) to help sort donated non-perishable food items  for distribution through their food pantries across Palm Beach and Martin counties.

Community Dinners

For the past 13 years, our church has hosted a community meal on Tuesday afternoons for our area homeless and hungry neighbors.  We feel our Community Dinner is an important way of serving God and God's people.  In addition to a meal, we provide showers, laundry, hair cuts, clothing, toiletries, and food pantry.
