Rules for Radicals: Not Abolished, but Rooted

We're beginning something today: a new series called Rules for Radicals. And before anyone worries that word "radical" is going to get us in trouble, here's the truth: it just means rooted. It comes from the Latin word for root — the same root that gives us radish and radiant. For the next nine weeks, we're going to sit with the second half of the Sermon on the Mount, and we're going to ask a simple question underneath all of it: what's actually growing beneath the surface of our lives? Having heard that we are blessed, how do we now live?
