“The Lord said to Joshua, ‘This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so that they may know that I will be with you.’”
— Joshua 3:7

We All Need Strength
Life has a way of reminding us that we're not as strong as we think we are. Whether you're facing health challenges, financial stress, relationship struggles, or simply the weight of daily responsibilities, there comes a moment when you realize you need something more than your own willpower to keep going.
The beautiful truth is that needing strength isn't a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of being human. Even those who seem to have it all together, who live in comfort or security, need strength to serve others and work for justice in our world.
Too often, we look for strength in control, certainty, or having all the answers. But real strength doesn’t come from managing every detail. It comes from recognizing that we are not meant to carry life alone. God’s presence is the true source of our strength—freely given, already near.
Today, instead of trying to muster strength from within, consider opening yourself to the strength that is already being offered.
Reflection Question
In what areas of your life are you trying to be strong on your own instead of drawing from God’s strength?
Prayer
God, I admit that I need strength beyond my own. Help me release the pressure to have it all together and trust Your presence with me. Amen.
Practicing Strength
Pause once today and simply name—out loud or silently—“I need strength here.” No fixing. No solving. Just honest acknowledgment.
