Saul said to the boy, “Good; come, let us go.” So they went to the town where the man of God was.
1 Samuel 9::10

In this story about Saul, buried beyond where Sunday school lessons often explore, is the tale of how he was identified as the future king of Israel. He was looking for his father's donkeys and happened into the town where Samuel resided. When they couldn't find the donkeys, his servant encouraged him to go to seek out "the seeer." The story will be continued tomorrow.

When we pay attention to our circumstances and listen to the counsel of those around us (with a bit of discernment) we often find hints to where God might be leading us next. How do you cultivate an openness to the nudgings of God?
