The "things" Barnabas was going to check out was that "some of the men from Cyprus and Cyrene who had come to Antioch started talking to Greeks, giving them the Message of the Master Jesus." <<Gasp>>

How many times do I, at best, ignore, or, at worst, reject, a practice or a modality or an idea because it doesn't fit into my preciously held idea of how Spirit moves?

May I have the humility to "check on things," to see what God is behind - whether I decide to "throw myself in" or quietly support from the side or continue on my path and let someone else continue theirs. Divine Spirit is all-encompassing - there is so much room.
